A-Service (1998 and later models)

- Change engine oil with Mobil 1 synthetic oil and replace Mercedes Fleece cartridge filter

- Top off all fluid levels

- Inspect tire tread for wear and correct tire pressure

- Inspect brakes and measure brake discs

- Inspect all interior and exterior lamps

- Perform Multi-point inspection
- Perform SDS fault code down load
- Reset FSS maintenance counter

 

B-Service (1998 and later models)

- Change engine oil with Mobil 1 synthetic oil and replace Mercedes Fleece cartridge filter

- Replace interior cabin filter

- Top off all fluid levels

- Inspect all interior and exterior lamps

- Check and correct tire pressure

- Check poly-v belt

- Inspect all belts and hoses

- Replace windshield wiper inserts (if applicable)
- Inspect and rotate tires (if applicable)

- Inspect brake pads and measure brake discs

- Perform Multi-point inspection
- Perform SDS fault code down load
- Reset FSS maintenance counter

*(Additional maintenance items are required at 2 year, 3 year and 60,000 mile intervals)

 

Brake Fluid Service (recommended every 2 years)

Flush all moisture and contaminated fluid from each brake caliper and master cylinder

 

Coolant System Service (recommended every 3 years on most models)

Pressure test the system for leaks in the cooling system and cap. Inspect the cooling system hoses, freeze plugs and radiator for deterioration. Drain and refill system with Mercedes-Benz approved antifreeze/coolant.   

 

Transmission Service (recommended every 4 years)

Change oil with Mercedes-Benz synthetic based transmission oil. Replace filter and transmission pan gasket. Road test for shift patterns and adapt on board computer when applicable.

 

Air Condition Service

Evacuate and recharge air conditioning system, clean condenser inlets, water drain and inspect for leaks.
